Our Vision

We believe in the magic of a book. A book inspires and sparks connections of all kinds – connections to our imaginations, our emotions, our spirits, ourselves and each other. We aimed to create stories that can provide playful, peaceful, and beautiful vessels for these connections.

As pediatric professionals, we have experienced first hand the allure of a good story. The narrative provides language and concepts that are eloquently packaged and ready for our own magic. The illustrations provide a starting point for imagination, creativity, and further exploration. A book can achieve our goals of participation and daily success for children. Without these wonderful tools our days would be more challenging and certainly not as fun! We hope the pages of our books will inspire, connect and come alive.

We look forward to having you along on our journey.

Aryn Franklin

Author & Speech-Language Pathologist

Aryn is a speech-language pathologist and co-author of the group’s two independently published books, both featuring a whimsical Narwhal inspired by her upbringing in the far reaches of Canada’s north. A lifelong lover of creative writing, Aryn’s journey into story creation was a natural extension of her imaginative spirit. Her personal collection of children’s books continues to expand, reflecting her deep love for the genre.

Aryn currently resides on beautiful Vancouver Island where she supports children’s communication development through her private practice Wild Seeds - Speech, Language, & Supported Learning Services (www.wildseedsslp.com).

Aryn loves to explore nature, especially the beaches and forests of the west coast. She nurtures her wild seed by connecting to animals; exercising her curious, creative mind; and finding moments of play in the everyday.
